Protect Your Energy, Protect What Matters

Many of us are carrying a lot right now. The needs around us are real, and it can be tempting to believe that caring means giving everything we have.

But even the most generous people need replenishment.

Rest is not a sign that you are stepping away from what matters. It is what allows you to continue showing up with presence, creativity, and compassion.

Protecting your energy might look like saying no, spending time outdoors, creating something, turning off your phone, or simply allowing yourself to be still. Your energy is one of your most valuable resources. Tend to it with care—not only for yourself, but for the people, communities, and causes you love.

Reflect: What is one thing draining your energy right now, and what is one small boundary or change you could make to protect it?
