Indivisible asked us to celebrate Flag Day last Sunday, June 14, with something that was creative and built community.
So, Oregon District 2 Indivisible hosted a gathering at Colver Road Park in Phoenix that featured hot dogs, watermelon, cookies and the creation of a giant American flag.
We used long rolls of colored paper, paper plates shaped like stars, and old campaign signs at the ends of the ribbons, to give them strength. And, as part of the fun, everyone helped stencil letters onto the stripes that said: “Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All.”
About 75 people showed up to help, and we got a lot of compliments on how fun it was to work on a project together.

Looking at the photos I noticed a few (very few) people who didnโt have grey hair. What can we do about that?
