What Can I Do?

  • Call & Pressure our Oregon Members of Congress. This is still a great core weekly tactic:
    … Call Sen. Ron Wyden and Sen. Jeff Merkley and/or your state rep.
    … Ask for one specific action (vote, investigation, public stance).
    … Keep it 30–60 seconds.
    … Follow up with an email with the same general message.

    Here’s a sample script to make it easy:
    “Hi, I’m a constituent in ________, Oregon. I’m calling about [issue you care about]. I want the senator/representative to [specific ask: vote, oppose, support, investigate]. This matters to me because [one sentence]. Please respond.”
