It has been a busy year for COIN, with nine new or newly updated Indivisible groups added to our website for 2026. Please welcome:
- Indivisible Redmond – Indivisible Redmond came into being in March 2025 when they registered with the national Indivisible organization. On their website, you can join their email list to stay up-to-date with their activities. You can also connect with them on Bluesky, Instagram and Facebook.
- Miller Street PDX – Started in 2016, Miller Street Activists is a neighborhood-based, multi-generational group in Portland, Oregon. You can learn more about them through their website, join their newsletter and connect on Bluesky.
- Portland District 2 Neighbors Indivisible – They have an informative website listing information where you can subscribe to their newsletter and learn about attending their meetings. You can also join them on Bluesky, and contact them through their listed email.
- Indivisible One Million Rising – This active group meets weekly and are currently organizing resistance singing in Salem/Keizer. They are also collectively organizing to unify union, faith, immigrant rights, business, cross party movement, and progressive leaders to address government sponsored violence against civilians in our community. Some of the groups are: ACLU Oregon, Braver Angels, Oregon Rural Urban Project, KMUZ Public Radio, PIRC, and SEIU to name a few.
- Indivisible Sherwood – This group is active weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Their website lists more of their activities and how they support their community members. There are pages for resources, trainings, and actions. Join their email list to stay up-to-date in the Sherwood area.
- Stand Strong Beaverton – Stand Strong Beaverton has been in existence since last summer. Their specialty is Mutual Aid, and have had events to benefit the Bethel Congregational food pantry, Home Plate Youth (a nonprofit that provides services to houseless young adults in Beaverton), and currently we are collecting food, diapers and formula for immigrant families (60 people in Beaverton have been taken so far). We cooperate with Indivisible Beaverton. They stage protests that we attend. We are co-hosting the No Kings event on March 28th. You can contact them through their listed email to join and help in the Beaverton area.
- Indivisible Newport – Indivisible Newport is one of three Indivisible groups in Lincoln County. They currently assist in mutual aide, working directly with local Latino organizations, and rapid response. They meet two times a month, and you can contact them through their listed email address.
- Woodburn Indivisible – This new group is just four weeks old! They are looking to connect with other groups as they are searching for on-site trainings, particularly de-escalation training in their area. They are welcome to networking and any help available to get them off to a great start.
- Indivisible of Coos County – They are another new group to COIN, and have been a regular participant with the Coastal Coalition. They rally twice a month and held a counter protest when Turning Point USA came to Coos Bay.
We are always looking to spotlight groups around the state and what they are currently doing. Please drop us a line, share your ideas and activities planned or held, so we can let others around the state know what you are up to!
Also, check out our newly updated Local Groups page. If you have a new group to add or need to update your groupโs listing, please use the link on that page for fast, convenient service. It is important in these times to keep your information up-to-date, as people are looking for places to protect democracy with others in their area.
