The Consolidated Oregon Indivisible Network firmly opposes the blatant voter intimidation tactics being used, including a “whitepaper” authored by two elected county officials, and various anonymous, so-called “news sites” that have posted names and photos of people involved in Rogue Indivisible of Grants Pass.
These tactics are not just unfair and untrue, they are dangerous. And they are causing great distress and personal harm to people who are utilizing their constitutional right to question authority and stand up for the values they believe are necessary to preserve democracy.
Indivisible is an organization focused on holding our elected officials accountable, from national to local. Indivisible has always advocated for and achieved peaceful, non-violent resistance and protests. To characterize its members as anything else, especially without proof or evidence, is highly toxic and reprehensible.
